Artist's Comments

This is nature at its best. Algonquin national park, Ontario, Canada.

After rowing the Canoe for an hour and a half we got to a Marshland and there we stopped for a little bit of rest.
Suddenly we heard a noise coming from the woods... A mother Moose and her young walked slowly towards us.
I quickly grabbed my camera and photographed them walking 8 meters from us and chewing the grass.
Now that's a scene I'll never forget.

Thanks for watching, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

If I remember the rest of these kinds that you've photograph
this was the best of theme.

Very good composition

I feel like I just caught a clip of a national geographic segment on moose. Wonderfully done. =D

Such a beautiful capture. I like the lighting -- it gives the whole shot a soft glow. The shutter speed and depth of field are also perfect. It's nice that the baby is in focus as well as the mother moose, but the grass has a soft blur. Very well done.
