What type of lens do you use? I can't get images of birds this sharp and clear...of course my lens is only a cheap 300 mm... :)

She looks rather fiery but guess you need to when hunting. Wonderful capture, the dof is great and I like the vivid colours, the way the whole photo seems to be glowing with life. The composition is neat too, the grass at the back looks so abstract and it balances the photo nicely. Brilliant work.

What can I say, this is a stunning photograph! I love the colours, the composition, and the lighting...and the subject really shows the cycle of life. It must have taken you a long time before you had the chance to capture such a brilliant shot, it's just that sort of dedication that I aspire to. :+fav:

how do you get all your photo's this sharp, i know my eyes arent perfect, but with a viewfinder as small as the D70's one, its really hard to focus anyways... you put a bigger viewfinder on it? or you just got good eyes?
