Back from Rome

Wed Jul 22, 2009, 11:44 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm back from Bellisima Roma :)
It is a beautiful city with amazing photographic opportunities
The trip there was a preparation for a photographic expedition we're planning on leading to Rome and practice practical lighting, street photography and churches and architectural photography. We will be there on November.
I will submit some of my favourite images soon.

You are welcome to see the beautiful photography magazine we've published, it's called Composition and right now it's only in Hebrew, but we are planning on launching an English version soon - [link]
The writers of the magazine are some of the best photographers from Israel, including Gilad Benari, Allon Kira, Felix Lupa, Tomer Jacobson and many other great minds.
If you see some magnificent photos which you think belong in the magazine, please let me know at editor@composition.co.il

Some other of my favorites:

Of course, you're welcome to my website - www.galitz.co.il to read Photography Articles and Tutorials,Watch my Galleries and see more information.

Back home...

Sat Aug 30, 2008, 11:11 PM
Hello to all my friends

I have returned from a wonderful trip to the west coast of the US and Canada. I wish to thank you all for your wonderful tips before I left
I started off at San Francisco which was foggy on July 4th, went to Muir woods and then south to Los Altos Hills and stayed with a wonderful lady who really likes my photography. from there we traveled south to Monterey for whale watching but escaped east from the fires California suffered. from there we went to Yosemite National park, which was amazingly beautiful :faint:
Lake Tahoe was totally shadowed because of the smoke from the mentioned California fires, so we went to the Grand Teton (Amazing!!) and Yellowstone National Park. Both were absolutely breath taking wildlife and landscapes.
The next stop was Glacier National Park, from there it was Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. Highly recommended.
And Vancouver and Vancouver Island were nice dessert after this wonderful trip.

I have so much to say and write about each of these places and I wish I could write so much, but time is a luxury.
The Trip was so amazing it's hard to describe. So I'll let the photos do the talking for me ;)
I do apologize for submitting so few so far, since I got home I was so busy with work and university exams, that I didn't see all the photos myself yet, but I hope to do so soon :D

Here are some of the few I submitted so far

Going to the US next week, any suggestions?

Sun Jun 22, 2008, 5:02 AM
Next week on Friday 4th of July, I'll Be off to the US for a trip.

Where? well, that's an excellent question... If you have any tips, I'd love to hear.
I'll start in San Francisco to see the 4th of July Fireworks perhaps near the Golden Gate, any suggestions?
Then around SF for two more days and down south on Route 1 to Monterey and Carmel and from there - Yosemite for 3 days :aww:
After Yosemite, it's lake Tahoe, Grand Teton National park and of course the king - Yellowstone for 4 days :faint:
From Yellowstone we'll cross the border to Canada's Calgary and the Canadian Rockies at Banff and Jasper (5 days)
From there we'll do Vancouver and Vancouver Island and the flight back is from Seattle.

I do hope it will be an excellent trip with lots of photo opportunities. Three and a half weeks of travel and photography.

If you have any suggestions of special places to go or places to sleep, of course I'll appreciate it

In the mean time, here are some of my favourites

Best regards,

Hard to believe it has been two years since I joined Deviant Art.
So much has happened during this time.
I've learned a lot, and tought quite a bit. I've met many good friends and shared about 150 deviations with you.

In Two weeks, I'm getting married! it's an interesting shift in life, and a big change of which other great changes will follow (no hurry :) )

My new website is almost done, and one of the big improvements will be and English version :) I'm working hard on translating the articles I wrote from hebrew to english and hope the website will launch in two weeks time. I will notify you when it's time, don't worry ;)

In the meantime here are some New Zealand thumbs...

Best regards and lots of love
